WHERE IS PARC SAFARI?

Parc Safari is located at 242 Rang Roxham, Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle, Quebec, J0J 1V0

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH THE TICKETS I PURCHASE ONLINE?

When arriving at Parc Safari, please hand in:

a – The credit card used for the purchase.

b – An ID with photo.

c- The electronic tickets you received by email (on your cell phone or printed).

If you offer the tickets as a gift, the recipients must present a photo or photocopy of your ID and credit card (the card number, except for the last 4 digits, can be blacked out).

CAN I BUY A TICKET THAT GIVES ACCESS TO ONLY SAFARI AVENTURE OR THE WATER PARK?

It is not possible to buy a ticket for only one area.

The admission ticket to Parc Safari includes all areas since once you enter the site, everything is accessible. Safari Aventure, the pedestrian areas and the water park do not have separate entrances accessible from outside the site.

CAN I PURCHASE A SEASON PASSPORT?

Yes, there are three season passports available this year. More information here

IS THE SITE ACCESSIBLE FOR PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY?

Yes, the site is fully accessible, including adapted bathrooms and access ramps in every areas. To facilitate your visit, wheelchairs and mobility scooters are available for rental at the information booth near the main entrance.

ARE THE CAL AND ACCESS 2 CARDS ACCEPTED AT PARC SAFARI?

The CAL and Access 2 cards are accepted at Parc Safari. You must present it when you arrive at the admission office in order to obtain free admission for the accompanying person.

IS PARKING FREE?

Yes, parking on site is free.

ARE THERE CHARGING TERMINALS FOR ELECTRIC CARS?

Charging stations are available near the main entrance. You must bring your cable. 

CAN I BRING MY LUNCH?

Yes, you can bring food and coolers. Many picnic areas are available on site, one is adjacent to the parking lot.

IS IT ALLOWED TO BRING YOUR OWN BBQ?

Small charcoal and propane BBQs are allowed only in the main picnic area, near the parking lot. Please let the information attendant know that you have a charcoal grill and the attendant will give you a bucket to dispose of hot briquettes. To avoid fires, please do not to throw the briquettes in the trash.

Note that we must comply with municipal regulations; in the event of a drought, BBQs may be prohibited. Please contact us before your visit to confirm whether the use of BBQs is allowed or not.

IS IT ALLOWED TO BRING AND / OR CONSUME ALCOHOL ON THE SITE?

Alcohol in a can or carton is allowed in the picnic areas. Glass bottles are prohibited.

IS IT ALLOWED TO SMOKE ON THE SITE?

Parc Safari is a 100% non-smoking area. Smoking is permitted in the parking lot only. Ashtrays for disposing of cigarette butts are located at the main entrance.

CAN WE BRING A PET TO PARC SAFARI?

Pets are not allowed on the Parc Safari site.

A basic kennel is available on site, but we strongly suggest that you leave your pets at home or with a petsitter when you visit Parc Safari.

The kennel cannot be used for overnight stay. If you have a CoolBox or RV package, please do not bring your pets with you.

WHAT ANIMALS CAN I FEED OR TOUCH?

You can feed the animals in Safari Aventure, at the Afrika Terrace and in the Deer Trail.

Lettuce and the animal food sold on site are the best options to give to the animals.

WHAT FOOD CAN I GIVE TO THE ANIMALS?

The animal food sold on site and lettuce are the best options to give to the animals. Separate the lettuce leaves, do not give the whole lettuce head at once.

You can also give celery and cucumber.

Do not give any fruits or sweet vegetables, like carrots, apples and corn, or vegetables from the cabbage family, like broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage. It causes digestion problems and health issues to several species.

Obviously, do not give pop corn, peanuts, nuts, chips, bread, meat, candy or any other type of human food to the animals.

DO ANIMALS DAMAGE THE CARS IN SAFARI AVENTURE?

Thousands of vehicles pass through Safari Aventure and very few incidents occur annually. The animals are used to being around cars, but they are nonetheless wild animals and should be considered as such. Note that Parc Safari cannot be held responsible for any damage or injury that an animal may cause. If you have any additional questions, please send them to info@parcsafari.com.

Electric bush trucks are available if you prefer not to go through Safari Aventure in your car. Schedule and rates will be available shortly.

WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER?

Light rain does not affect Parc Safari operations.

Dangerous weather conditions, such as thunderstorms, can cause Parc Safari to close early, partially, completely or prevent it from opening. 

Parc Safari reserves the right to change its schedule and/or to close some or all of its activities, depending on weather conditions.

No refund, compensation or exchange will be offered due to adverse weather conditions or early closure.

IS IT ALLOWED TO USE BICYCLE, KICK SCOOTER, ROLLER SKATE, SKATEBOARD OR OTHERS ON THE SITE?

It is not allowed to ride around Parc Safari with these types of transport. Only strollers, wheelchairs and mobility scooters are allowed.

IS WEARING A MASK MANDATORY ON SITE?

As of May 14, masks are no longer mandatory, but are still allowed at your discretion.

Water park

WHAT IS THE WATER PARK DRESS CODE?

 

▪ Swimsuits must be made of synthetic fabric only, such as nylon, polyester and spandex. Clothing made of natural fabrics, such as cotton, is prohibited in the swimming pools.

▪ Swimsuits must be fitted to the body, including burkini type swimsuit.

▪ Swimsuits must be decent and safe.

▪ Swimsuits are allowed only in the water park.

▪ BABIES AND TODDLERS MUST WEAR A SWIM DIAPER.

▪ Life jackets and floats are allowed everywhere, except in the waterslides and in the wave pool.

Cotton clothing and other absorbent fabrics (rayon, hemp, wool, etc.) are prohibited in the swimming pools.

NO COTTON T-SHIRT

Natural fibers absorb and spread laundry soap, fabric softener and bacteria, causing deterioration in water quality. When wet, these fabrics become heavy and pose a safety risk to bathers.

Shirts and t-shirts worn in the pools must be made of synthetic fabrics (nylon, polyester spandex), like rashguards and burkinis.

WHAT ARE THE HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS OF THE WATER PARK?

Tropical Oasis: minimum 4 feet (1,22m) to use the slides.

Wave pool: minimum of 4 feet (1,22m) in the deeper part of the pool.
Dolphin Lagoon: no minimum height; the small slides section of the Lagoon is for children 5 years old and younger.
Dino wading pool: no minimum height.

WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER?

The pools must be evacuated during a thunderstorm. They can reopen only once the risk of lightning has passed. 

WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF A "BIOLOGICAL ACCIDENT" IN THE POOLS?

The pool must be closed for an indefinite period of time in order to treat the water so that it complies with quality standards.

In order to avoid a closure, young children must wear a swim diaper.

 

Safari Aventure

RULES TO FOLLOW IN SAFARI AVENTURE

Road safety standards must be respected in Safari Aventure.

It is forbidden to sit in the box of pickup trucks, and to keep the rear and sliding doors of vans, SUVs and hatchbacks open.

Feed the animals only with green vegetables such as lettuce, cucumber and celery, or with the animal food sold on site.

The right lane is for feeding the animals, the left lane is to drive along.

Please follow the instructions specific to each section, as indicated on signs along the way.

Do not throw garbage out the window, trash cans are available at the exit of Safari Aventure.

AUTHORIZED VEHICLES

Jeeps are permitted but must have their half doors in place.

Motorcycles, bicycles, all-terrain vehicles and other modes of transport that do not offer side protection are prohibited.

For the safety of our animals, trailers are prohibited. They must be unhooked and left in the parking lot before entering Safari Aventure.

Bicycles or other objects tied on a rear rack must be removed before entering Safari Aventure. 

Buses and recreational vehicles are allowed in Safari Aventure.
