COVID-19

As of September 1, you will need to present your vaccination passport as well as an ID to enter the site. Children 12 and under are exempt from this measure.

You can feed the animals, but please limit contact if possible, do not pet or kiss them.

Wearing a mask is not necessary outdoors, but it must be worn in certain areas, such as inside the felines’ tunnels, the Discovery Pavilion, in the restrooms, etc. These places are clearly indicated before entering and masks are on sale at the gift shop.

You must purchase your tickets on our website and reserve a day for your visit.

Entrances to the water park are sold separately on our website and a time slot must also be reserved. The Dolphins’ Lagoon is open June 11 to september 6. The entire water park is open June 24 to August 29, and September 4-5-6.

Some areas are one-way and indoor locations accept a limited number of families at a time. Lineup areas have markings on the ground to respect social distancing.

The Explorateur indoor restaurant must remain closed, but all the other restaurants are open.

There are hand cleaning / sanitizing stations on site, and restrooms are sanitized regularly. Employees in contact with the public and with food will wear a mask.

CAN WE BRING A PET TO PARC SAFARI?

No pets are allowed on the Parc Safari site. The kennel is not available this year.

IS THE WEARING OF A MASK MANDATORY ON THE SITE?

WHY IS THERE AN ENTRY PRICE FOR THE WATER PARK IN 2021?

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of places in the water park must be limited to comply with the biosecurity measures imposed by the government. In order to not exceed the number of people allowed each day, the entrance fee to the water park is subtracted from the entrance fee to Parc Safari and purchased separately. When the available places for the water park are sold out, it is still possible to visit Parc Safari on that day, without having access to the water park.

CAN I PURCHASE A SEASON PASSPORT FOR SUMMER 2021?

Due to the government restrictions, we are unable to offer season passports this year. They will be back next year.

WHAT ACTIONS HAVE YOU TAKEN FOR COVID-19?

Several sanitizing and hand washing stations have been installed.

The waiting lines are laid out so that people stay 2m apart.

The number of people on the site is limited

The number of people in the water park is limited.

Employees in direct contact with guests wear masks.

Employees in contact with food wear masks.

Preferably buy your tickets online.

Restrooms are disinfected regularly.

Masks are mandatory in the felines tunnel.

PRE-SALE TICKETS winter/spring 2021

 Tickets purchased in pre-sale have been taken into account when the daily limits were set in the reservation calendar.

Therefore, pre-sale tickets holders do not need to reserve a visit date.

 

Pre-sale tickets do not include the water park.

 

Entrances to the water park are sold separately in the online ticket store, and a day and time slot must be reserved.

This time slot must be respected, but there will be no problem entering the site on the chosen date.

When the water park is not full, it is also possible to buy tickets on site, at the main entrance or the information booth.

Changing your tickets date

Pre or post dated tickets will not be accepted at Parc Safari.

Tickets must indicate the same date as the day of the visit.

 

You have up to 48 hours before the date of your visit to change that date.

For example, tickets dated July 30 can be changed until July 28 at 10 a.m.

 

To make the change:

 

  1. On the ticketing platform, sign in to your account via “My account” on the upper right corner of the page.
  2. Once you have signed in, click on your name, then on “My account”.
  3. In “My tickets/passes”, click on “Change my ticket” next to the ticket you want to exchange. If it is not in the list, you probably need to sign out and sign in again using a different login option (email address, Facebook, or Google).
  4. Choose “My ticket” to change the date of your visit. If this option is not available, it means the exchange period has passed.
  5. Click on “Exchange” next to the ticket you want to exchange.
  6. Select a new date and time of visit, then click on “Exchange”.
  7. Your ticket now shows the new visit date.

 

You can change the visit date several times, as long as this is done 48 hours in advance and as long as there is availability.

Safari Aventure

RULES TO FOLLOW IN SAFARI AVENTURE

Road safety standards must be respected in Safari Aventure

Feed the animals only with green vegetables such as lettuce, cucumber and celery, or with the food prepared for them sold on site.

The right lane is for feeding the animals, the left lane is to drive along.

Please follow the instructions specific to each section, as indicated on signs along the way.

Do not throw garbage out the window, trash cans are available at the exit of Safari Aventure.

AUTHORIZED VEHICLES

It is forbidden to sit in the box of pickup trucks, and to keep the rear and sliding doors of vans, SUVs and hatchbacks open.

Jeeps are permitted but must have half doors in place.

Motorcycles, bicycles, all-terrain vehicles and other modes of transport that do not offer side protection are prohibited.

For the safety of our animals, trailers are prohibited. They must be unhooked and left in the parking lot before entering Safari Aventure.

Buses and recreational vehicles are allowed in Safari Aventure.

General

WHERE IS PARC SAFARI?

Parc Safari is located at 242 Rang Roxham, Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle in Quebec, near the American border.

IS THE SITE ACCESSIBLE FOR PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY?

Yes, the site is fully accessible, including adapted bathrooms and access ramps in every areas. To facilitate your visit, wheelchairs and 4 wheels scooters are available for rental at the information booth near the main entrance.

IS IT ALLOWED TO BRING YOUR OWN BBQ?

Small charcoal and propane BBQs are accepted only in the main picnic area, near the parking lot. Please let the information attendant know that you have a charcoal grill and the attendant will give you a bucket to dispose of hot briquettes. It is important not to throw briquettes in the trash to avoid fires.

Note that we must comply with municipal regulations; in the event of a drought, BBQs may be prohibited. Please contact us before your visit to confirm whether the use of BBQs is allowed or not.

IS IT ALLOWED TO BRING AND / OR CONSUME ALCOHOL ON THE SITE?

Alcohol in a can or carton is allowed in the picnic areas. Glass bottles are prohibited.

IS IT ALLOWED TO SMOKE ON THE SITE?

Parc Safari is a 100% non-smoking area. Smoking is permitted in the parking lot only. Ashtrays for disposing of cigarette butts are located at the main entrance, near the elephant sculptures.

DO ANIMALS DAMAGE THE CARS IN SAFARI AVENTURE?

Thousands of vehicles pass through Safari Aventure and very few incidents occur annually. The animals are used to being around cars, but they are nonetheless wild animals and should be considered as such. Note that Parc Safari cannot be held responsible for any damage or injury that an animal may cause. If you have any additional questions, please send them to info@parcsafari.com.

WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS FOR ONLINE PURCHASE?

Tickets purchased online are valid only for the day selected during purchase.

When arriving at Parc Safari, please hand in:

a – The credit card used for the purchase.

b – An ID with photo.

c- The electronic tickets with barcode you received by email (on your cell phone or printed).

WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER?

Bad or dangerous weather conditions can cause Parc Safari to close early, partially or completely, or prevent it from opening.

Parc Safari reserves the right to change its schedule and/or to close some or all of its activities, depending on weather conditions.

No refund, compensation or exchange will be offered due to adverse weather conditions or early closure.

ARE THERE CHARGING TERMINALS FOR ELECTRIC CARS?

Terminals are available on site near the entrance. You must bring your cable.

IS IT ALLOWED TO USE BICYCLE, KICK SCOOTER, ROLLER SKATE, SKATEBOARD OR OTHERS ON THE SITE?

It is not allowed to ride around Parc Safari with these types of transport. Only wheelchairs and 4 wheels scooters are allowed.

Water park

WHAT IS THE WATER PARK DRESS CODE?

 

▪ Swimsuits must be made of synthetic fabric only, such as nylon, polyester and spandex. Clothing made of natural fabrics, such as cotton, is prohibited in the swimming pools.

▪ Swimsuits must be fitted to the body, including burkini type swimsuit.

▪ Swimsuits must be decent and safe.

▪ Swimsuits are allowed only in the water park.

▪ BABIES AND YOUNG CHILDREN MUST WEAR A SWIM DIAPER.

▪ Life jackets and floats are allowed everywhere, except in the waterslides and in the wave pool.

Cotton clothing and other absorbent fabrics (rayon, hemp, wool, etc.) are prohibited in the swimming pools.

NO COTTON T-SHIRT

Natural fibers absorb and spread laundry soap, fabric softener and bacteria, causing deterioration in water quality. When wet, these fabrics become heavy and pose a safety risk to bathers.

Shirts and t-shirts worn in the pools must be made of synthetic fabrics (nylon, polyester spandex), like rashguards and burkinis.

WHAT ARE THE HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS OF THE WATER PARK?

Tropical Oasis: minimum 4 feet (1,22m) to use the slides.

Wave pool: minimum of 4 feet (1,22m) in the deeper part of the pool.
Dolphin Lagoon: no minimum height; the small slides section of the Lagoon is for children 5 years old and younger.
Dino wading pool: no minimum height.

WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF A "BIOLOGICAL ACCIDENT" IN THE POOLS?

The pool must be closed for an indefinite period of time in order to treat the water so that it complies with quality standards. In order to avoid a closure, young children must wear a swim diaper. In the event of an accident of this nature, if the intervention time is more than 60 minutes, swimmers will be redirected to another pool, if possible.
