White lions are very rare. Both parents must carry a recessive gene and and pass it on to their cubs for them to be white. White lions are not albino, but leucistic. Their eyes and skin are pigmented but their fur is not.

Hyenas belong to the family Hyaenidae, a group of terrestrial carnivores. Although a hyena looks like a large dog, it does not belong to the suborder Caniformia but rather to Feliformia.

Snow leopards are perfectly adapted to cold, rugged mountains. They have long, thick tails that help them balance and stay warm. With furry paw pads, they move silently across snow. Extremely elusive, they are often called the “ghost of the mountains.”
