The Parc Safari Foundation’s mission is to ensure the well-being of the animals under our care
and to support sustainable initiatives in conservation and education, according to CAZA standards.
What is the fondation
The Friends of Parc Safari Foundation was created to ensure the continuity of Parc Safari's zoological mission. To this end, it manages all zoological activities, from the renewal of zoological infrastructure to collaboration protocols for the preservation of endangered species and biodiversity.

To provide for the short, medium, and long-term needs of the animals under our care. To modernize and improve presentation settings to offer adapted, safe, and animal welfare-friendly environments. To develop, diversify, and renew educational programs for students and the general public. To structure, enhance, and optimize enrichment programs to promote the physical and behavioral well-being of animals.
Zoological Initiatives
Reproduction and protection of endangered species within the framework of the international CITES treaty (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) and according to CAZA (Canada's Accredited Zoos and Aquariums) standards. Collaboration with other zoological institutions worldwide for the maintenance and improvement of the genetic health of endangered species, and contribution to reintroduction programs in protected areas.
